Mission
Help people shape lasting, useful beauty while honoring the rhythms of hands, material, and place. We emphasize technical excellence, creative curiosity, and ethical practice.
We began with a simple observation: the forest teaches pacing. In 2016 a small group of ceramic artists converted an old greenhouse into a quiet studio where people could learn clay without rush or noise. That greenhouse grew into Radiant Grove Clay School—an inclusive space for patient making and thoughtful design.
Help people shape lasting, useful beauty while honoring the rhythms of hands, material, and place. We emphasize technical excellence, creative curiosity, and ethical practice.
We provide clear demonstrations, structured feedback, and a supportive peer community. No gimmicks, no false urgency—just honest, patient learning.
Mara leads curriculum design and critiques. Her work explores botanical motifs and subtle surface geometry. She teaches intermediate and advanced sculpture.
Theo oversees kilns, glaze lab, and safety protocols. He is known for clear, methodical demos that make complex techniques approachable.
A rotating roster of visiting artists contributes masterclasses on topics like porcelain discipline, wood firing, and figurative proportions.
Our studio assistants maintain tools, recycle clay, and help with trimming and glazing logistics so your learning time stays focused.
